Our Story

Where it all began...

We are Greg and Mandy Edwards’ of Edwards Providore. Our journey started with a simple wish; to provide quality fruit, vegetables and deli items to people on Bendigo’s south-east fringe. Edwards produce is, where possible, purchased directly from the farm gate and always very much seasonal. We are very proud of our new store at Kennington where we offer the best local produce and deli items. In our cafe, everything is made from the produce we sell in-store.

What a great way for you to taste what we sell. Our deli range comprises free-range ham from McIvor Farms in Tooborac and chorizo and salami from Istra Smallgoods in Musk. The olives are from Salute’ Oliva in Boort and the salad dressings from Jamie’s Fine Dressings in Lake Boga.

Our tasty range of cakes and tarts are made in-house by our pastry chef.

We believe in the simple joy of good food and that a busy lifestyle can still go hand in hand with wonderful meals that can be enjoyed as a family. After all, we are based in Central Victoria where we are surrounded by all this beautiful produce.
